New Vogue Foxtrots

The New Vogue “foxtrot” dances are named not necessarily because they include foxtrot figures (although they can), but because of the type of music you dance them to. Each sequence is choreographed to match a medium-paced piece with four beats to the bar, and if that piece of music is a smooth jazz standard from around the 1930s, all the better! New Vogue foxtrot-rhythmed sequences vary in difficulty, but all are best danced with long, controlled steps and a floating movement. They are smooth, easy-paced and pleasurable to dance.
