COVID-19 General Information

Long-Steps Ballroom Dancing would like to impress upon all students accessing our services, that a large portion of our ability to re-open and remain open relies on the good sense and due diligence of our students. Please remain vigilant and help us to create and retain a safe dancing environment amid these persistent and challenging circumstances.

Business As Usual

What Happens Now

The mandatory requirement for self isolation after returning a positive COVID-19 result was removed in November, 2022. However you feel about this decision, we must move forward now that it has been made.

Many of Long-Steps' patrons remain in high risk categories for serious side effects of contracting COVID-19. It must therefore remain a priority for Long-Steps to do everything we can to prevent a COVID-19 outbreak at one or more of our events.

To ensure customers are not disadvantaged for staying away while sick, Long-Steps is retaining its refund policy for all prepayments for those who test positive for COVID-19. Let us be clear, despite the current rules change, if you have COVID-19, do not come to a Long-Steps event.

If either Lindsey or Ian test positive for COVID-19 from this point forward, the positive person will isolate for at least 7 days, and the negative person will take daily R.A.T.s to ensure dancer safety.
